Myth Busters

Because some people really have no idea what they're talking about...

1. You're gay therefore you like to dress as a woman.
No, it's not like that. Some do and that is what they want. Times have changed. We have nothing against the cross-dressers. They are just expressing themselves, but we have our own expression, our own style. Believe it or not, gay men actually dress more stylish than straight.

2. I'm a straight man and you're gay. You wanna have sex with me.
Are you kidding? With the abundance of gay men swimming around, we might as well stick to them.

Puh-lease. Not because you're straight and we want to be friends with you mean we wanna sleep with you.

P.S. Gays nowadays are hot. As in H-O-T!

3. You're in a relationship? Are you the man or the woman?
There are some instances where two guys have different roles in the relationship: one is more accustomed towards female duties while the other is towards the male, but nothing, and I mean nothing, like a man or a woman per se at all. We're equals.

4. Gay guys are really promiscuous.
Excuse me. Men, in general, are promiscuous, not just gay guys. Get your facts straight. Pun intended.

5. Gays pay guys for relationship.
One of the most irritable stereotyping ever. You know, it's true that some gay guys pay men for them to be their partner and we can't blame them. That's their thing. But times have changed, not because you're in a relationship with another man does not mean you want to get his money through his pants or something like that.

  2. 1. You're gay therefore you like to dress as a woman.

-gaya nga ng sabi ko parang damit lang din yan or pagkain na gusto mo or music na pinapakinggan mo or movies na pinapanood mo - preference. Natuwa ako sa sinabi mong "We have nothing against the cross-dressers" sana lahat ng nasa community natin ganyan mag isip. Nakakalungkot lang kasi makita at isipin na tayong LGBT community na nagfa-fight against discrimination and longs for equality eh tayo din mismo ang nagva-violate niyan.

    2. I'm a straight man and you're gay. You wanna have sex with me.
    - Hahahaha! snap snap snap. Mga assuming!

    3. You're in a relationship? Are you the man or the woman?
    - This is very common sa mga straight. But I can't blame them kasi hindi naman sila Gay and I assume they have not been into homosexual relationship but c'mon Could they not live without gender roles?

    4. Gay guys are really promiscuous.
    - uh-huh! *nodding*

    5. Gays pay guys for relationship.
    - last but not the least. kaya ako naniniwala ako na dapat tigilan na ni Vice Ganda yang mga sinasabi niya sa TV about that eh. Kasi mas lalo lang naniniwala ang tao na laging may money involve. that's true for cross-dressers (sorry to say but that's a fact) and for some transgender but not for all gays. Kainis!

Meron pa... yung mas malambot ang bottom yung mas matigas kumilos ang top. Again, preference and pleasure lang yan.

    1. I totally agree with you. And with Vice's actions on that, he really has to stop as he is a very powerful figure and with media as a tool, misconceptions are bound to be screwed into people's heads.

    2. Korek!

    4. You know you are absolutely right and most of the time we want equality but we ourselves are examples of discrimination. We also advocate 'no labels' but we label ourselves, really.
